Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Water Restoration Helper to join our team. The Water Restoration Helper assists in the restoration of properties affected by water damage, including water extraction, drying, and clean-up processes. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the restoration industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the set-up and operation of equipment used for water extraction, dehumidification, and drying.

- Remove water-damaged materials, including carpets, drywall, and flooring, under supervision.

- Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth.

- Transport and maintain equipment and supplies to and from job sites.

- Monitor and document moisture levels, temperatures, and drying progress.

- Assist in preparing job sites by moving furniture and protecting undamaged areas.

- Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

- Support the lead technician in completing restoration tasks efficiently and effectively.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related field is a plus but not required.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

- Willingness to work in varying conditions, including wet, damp, or dirty environments.

- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.

- Must be available for on-call work, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
